Curriculum Vision
At New Bridge, we believe that a high-quality education in art will teach pupils to express their understanding of the world around them and their own internal world.
Art is a powerful and very individual communication tool for our pupils. Through artistic media, New Bridge School pupils can develop communication skills, confidence and creativity.
Art Lessons at New Bridge School
Art lessons at New Bridge School are inspirational, fun and inclusive. Pupils research a range of artists from old masters through to contemporary practitioners.
In the light of that research, we then explore art production through a range of dynamic media such as clay, photography, painting and textiles. Great emphasis is placed upon process rather than outcome.
All children are supported and encouraged to develop their own unique creative voice.
