Happy New Year from the Learning Centre

I’d like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Happy New Year and hope you had a nice Christmas break.

There is a consensus of opinion at the Learning Centre that having time to rest and recoup after new year is much better and I have to say I concur, however getting my brain into work mode on Monday was a challenge!

What has warmed my heart on these cold mornings has been the wide smiles on students’ faces who seem really pleased to be back at college. Their enthusiasm and joy is a continuous source of inspiration for me and is definitely what gets me up in the mornings!

Many of the year 12 students now look like they’ve been at the Learning Centre for years and all our students are back in the swing of learning.

We are preparing for a range of events this term and I’d like to remind families about our upcoming Parents & Carers group…
