CLAKE Update 

Here’s an update on what CLAKE have been up to this week…

On Monday the group made Easter cakes. Everyone enjoyed making them and enjoyed eating them even more. The students were very good at cleaning up afterwards.

CLAKE - 22.3.24

In options on Tuesday morning some students learnt about Germany in ‘Around The World’. The students ate black forest gateaux and listened to some stories from The Brothers Grimm.

In the sport option, students played some football outside.

Others were working on their art GCSE.

In gardening on Tuesday, the group were clearing an area.  First, they put on their PPE, then they worked hard as a team to move rubbish.

On Wednesday in maths the group were working on addition, subtraction and calculations with money.

Thursday brought Outdoor Ed and a visit to Stamford Park. Although it didn’t rain whilst they were there, earlier rain had left a lot of mud.  The group helped each other to navigate the mud and the wooded areas.
