To Parent/Carer 

Thank you for those who came to our first Parents/ Carers meeting, we had an amazing turn out with 23 parent/carers. At the meeting, parents/carers said that they would like to have a Professionals meeting with Trusha Velji from Touch solicitors, Chadderton.

Trusha is a solicitor who has a lot of specialist knowledge and experience around special needs in relation to wills, trust funds, lasting power of attorney, deputyships and other pertinent legal issues.

Following on from this I am really pleased to make you aware that our next Learning Centre Parents and Carers group meeting will be taking place at the Learning Centre on Monday 10th November 2025 from 2-3pm. This will be an opportunity for you to benefit from Trusha’s expertise as well as speak to Trusha and ask any questions you may have.

We will also host our next Parents group meeting on Monday 8th December 2-3pm at the Learning Centre. This will just be for parents/carers to come, chat and share experiences in a warm, supportive environment.

 

The dates for your diary then are-

 

Monday 10th November 2-3pm at the Learning Centre- Professionals Parents group meeting with Trusha Velji from Touch solicitors.

 

Monday 8th December 2-3pm at the Learning Centre- Parents group meeting just with Parents/Carers.
