Welcome Back

It has been wonderful to welcome our pupils back to New Bridge Pathway last week. The start of a new academic year always brings a sense of excitement and we are looking forward to everything that the year ahead will bring.

For some pupils, this week has been about settling back into familiar routines and reconnecting with friends and staff. For our year 10 pupils, it has been the start of a brand new journey. We know that returning to school and change can bring a mix of emotions, but we are proud of how positively our pupils have approached the transition to Pathways,

This year promises to be packed with opportunities, from exciting lessons and enrichment activities to our Super Learning Days and community projects. We are really looking forward to watching the young people at New Bridge Pathways grow.

As we begin this new academic year together, we are excited to see what our pupils will achieve. We know there will be challenges along the way, but there will also be many successes, celebrations and moments to be proud of and we cannot wait to share them with you.

I hope you had a wonderful weekend.

CL6 - 07.09.2026

CL6 have settled in brilliantly and are making a fantastic start to the year as they get to know one another and build positive relationships within the class. The children have shown enthusiasm and confidence in taking part in activities together, creating a welcoming and supportive classroom environment. We have completed both class and individual work on the Zones of Regulation, helping pupils to develop their understanding of emotions and strategies to support their wellbeing. The children are also currently creating their What Makes Me Who I Am showcases, which provide an opportunity for them to celebrate their unique personalities, interests, strengths and experiences while sharing more about themselves with their classmates. This has been a wonderful way to promote self-awareness and strengthen connections across the class.

CL4 - 07.09.2026

CL4 have made a fantastic start to the year and have enjoyed spending time getting to know one another as a class. The children have participated well in a range of activities designed to help build friendships and develop a sense of belonging within our classroom community. Together, we have been exploring the Zones of Regulation, both as a class and through individual work, helping pupils to recognise and understand different emotions and identify strategies that can support their wellbeing. You will see some pictures of them demonstrating how we look in the different Zones! The children have also been working on All about me so that we can get to know each other as a class. This has given them the opportunity to share their interests, strengths, experiences and the things that make them unique. It has been wonderful to see pupils learning more about each other, celebrating their individuality and developing positive connections as we begin the new school year together.

CL2 - 07.09.2026
