Happy New (Academic) Year! 

Welcome back everyone to the start of the new academic year 2024-2025. 

We've had a brilliant start to the week and the children (and staff) bounced into school on Wednesday to meet each other.

It was so lovely to see everyone back safe and sound. On Wednesday and Thursday, I managed to get round every single class group and meet the new year 7’s.

It was fabulous to see everyone looking so smart in New Bridge uniform and it was so lovely to hear the stories of the summer. 

On Monday and Tuesday the staff took part in training and preparation for the year ahead. This year we are focusing on the 3 B’s...

I’m also going to focus my blog on the ‘B’s ‘and what they mean to us next week...

This afternoon we have waved off a lot of happy faces.

Our first week back really has been truly amazing. I can’t wait to see what the new year has in store of us all.  

Next week we return to a full week of work – which is probably going to be really hard for everyone after 6 weeks off. 

A massive ‘thank you' must go to our staff for all their hard work to make sure that the start of the year has gone so well.

And a special mention must go to our young people, who really do make New Bridge School a magical place to be. 

My blog this week is short and sweet as I’m going to let the pictures show our blog readers what a brilliant week it has been.
