Friday 5 June 2026 Pathways Blog - 5.6.26 We enter the home straight of the Academic year and, as Team GBs Olympic Gold Medallist Sir Mo Farrah does in his races, we are pushing on, not slowing down and finishing the term with a sprint – Duke of Edinburgh's expeditions, a Collaborative visit to Berlin, Whole School ‘Survival & Resilience' events, Transitions, Summer Markets, End of Key Stage Prom, End of Key Stage Celebration Assembly. All this and more, and we only have 6 weeks to do it all in!

Friday 22 May 2026 Learning Centre Blog - 22.5.26 As we approach half term and prepare for our final half term of this academic year, I've been in reflective mood. Friday 15 May 2026 Learning Centre Blog (15.5.26) Over the last couple of weeks, I've had the privilege of visiting a number of classes as part of our cycle of learning walks. Its been a real joy to observe our staff doing what they do best, delivering well-planned lessons, with energy, creativity and skill. The depth of our staffs understanding of student need has been obvious, the warmth and care they bring to the classroom could be felt in every lesson I visited. I sat in one lesson, feeling overwhelmed with emotion as I watched students who previously had been anxious an unsettled, sit relaxed, fully engaged and clearly enjoying their learning. I couldn't be prouder of our amazing staff team, both deliverers and support staff who work together to enable all our students to thrive! Well done team Learning Centre.

Friday 15 May 2026 Pathways Blog - 15.5.26 This week was Pathways Parent's Evening. I always look forward to welcoming families to the site to hear what their child has been up to. It is a perfect opportunity to show pupil progress and areas for development, but also is used to strengthen home/school partnerships. The evening was well attended by families, and we received some amazing feedback. I would like to take this opportunity to share some of the parent voice:

Friday 1 May 2026 Pathways Blog - 1.5.26 The recent sunshine has certainly contributed to the bright atmosphere around New Bridge Pathways - the sun really does make a difference. As always, it has been a busy week, some pupils have begun sitting their Maths Functional Skills exams, others visited the Museum of Science and Industry as part of their living skills programme, and a number of families joined us for an information presentation about the Year 11 Haven residential.
